    • It is so easy to eat more, and more often, than you realize you do. So keep a journal, and from this you can track when and what you eat, and what you were doing and feeling at the time. This information can help you monitor your eating habits and help you to make beneficial changes.
    • Fish has a lot of nutritional value and it is an ideal meat to serve with salad for a healthy weight loss. Salmon is particular is an ideal fish for this purpose. Remember to keep to one tablespoon to stay within a suitable calorie range. One tablespoon of cream contains about 8 calories, so it is safe to do this every now and again.
    • Try to eat the full rainbow of food colours when choosing your fruits and vegetables. Try to have at least one colorful element in each meal. If you can, eat the skin of the fruits and vegetables as this contains a lot of antioxidants. Make sure you wash your fruits and vegetables carefully first though.
    • Flavour your meals and diet with red pepper flakes by adding them to your cooking regiment. Also by eating red pepper flakes throughout the early part of your day, you will eat less. Red pepper has been shown to lower your cravings for food throughout the day.
    • If you eat when you are distracted, you could easily put on the pounds by not paying attention to what and how much you are eating. This will work against your goals consequently your weight loss will be harder to achieve. Know how much you are eating at every sitting and you will find you will eat less.

    Maybe picking a date and set a realistic goal can help you achieve your weight loss dreams. Write your date down and visualize it every day. Try not to put your date off, or stall in any way. This will help you to stay focused and make your goal feel real.
